The Egg Protein Rapid kit is a qualitative immunochromatographic lateral flow test designed for screening for the presence of egg protein residues in food products, ingredients, clean in place (CIP) final rinse water and environmental swabs.

A control line assures the test is working properly, and the other two lines outline nondetectable, low, and high levels of egg protein.

The Egg White Protein Rapid Kit utilizes a lateral flow device (LFD) that is an immunochromatographic test method utilizing antibodies which are specific for the detection of egg white proteins. Positive results are visualized by the presence of three lines: a control line, a hook line and a test line, when the egg white protein is present down to the assay limit of detection (LOD). A control line assures the test is working properly, and the other two lines outline nondetectable, low, and high levels of egg white protein.
