Ready-to-reconstitute media bags for BPW HQ (ISO) contain exactly the correct amount of dehydrated culture media and supplements to prepare 20 L of enrichment broth. The dehydrated culture media contained in each bag has been sterilized via irradiation and needs reconstituting with sterile deionized/RO water.

Buffered Peptone Water HQ (ISO) is a non-selective pre-enrichment medium for the isolation of Salmonella spp. in food, animal feed, and environmental samples from the food production area as described in ISO 6579-1:2017. It can be used with Salmonella Selective Supplement (NCM4000) as part of the One Broth One Plate for Salmonella alternative workflow to ISO 6579-1:2017. BPW HQ (ISO) is also for use with ANSR for Salmonella.
