ABTS Substrate is a one-bottle, ready to use substrate for horseradish peroxidase (HRP) microwell applications. It contains 2.2’-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)-diammonium salt in a mildly acidic buffer. ABTS develops a blue-green color in the presence of a peroxidase labelled conjugate. The reaction can be stopped using 1% SDS stop solution. ABTS substrate is not applicable for use with assays requiring a precipitating substrate.
