Neogen® Agar No. 2 Bacteriological

Agar No. 2 Bacteriological is a clear bacteriological agar with high gel strength compatible with all culture media. Agar No. 2 Bacteriological is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.

A bacteriological agar which gives a firm gel at working concentrations of 1.0 to 1.5% which is reasonably clear. This agar is recommended for all culture media except sensitivity testing media and those where absolute clarity is advantageous.
