You have a busy schedule, and instrument maintenance can sometimes fall to the bottom of the to-do list. Let Neogen take care of that for you with our onsite maintenance program for Neogen's Soleris® spoilage detection system. It's a total package that helps make the Soleris system easier to use and can completely eliminate the time you or your employees would spend on performing routine maintenance. A little preventative maintenance can stop potential performance issues before they start and ensure the instrument runs trouble-free for years.

Participation in the preventive maintenance program can ensure the system is running optimally and potentially minimize downtime. The integrity of every Soleris® assay can be compromised if the temperature and light sources are outside the specification limits or the operating system driving the Soleris instrument is not properly maintained. Service is to occur in most cases within 4-6 weeks of return of a Purchase Order. System will be certified through the end of the month, one year from date of service.

Soleris Service Options

1. SS-100: Preventive Maintenance
Platinum Level
This option includes:

  • On-site preventive maintenance service visit
  • Cost of replacement parts included for one year after service
  • Temperature and optical calibration
  • Internal and external cleaning/inspection
  • Software upgrade (if available)
  • Refresher training upon request (No certification will be provided)
  • Unlimited phone and web support

2. SS-101: Preventive Maintenance
Gold Level
This option includes:

  • On-site preventive maintenance service visit
  • Cost of replacement parts not included and will be charged by line item
  • Temperature and optical calibration
  • Internal and external cleaning/inspection
  • Software upgrade (if available)
  • Refresher training upon request (No certification will be provided)
  • Unlimited phone and web support


3. SFT-100: Soleris On-Site Training.
Service includes training or re-training of staff by a certified Soleris technician of the operation and principals of the Soleris system. Certification of training services will be provided to each participating technician. Please request in advance of technician arrival.

4. SCT-01: Soleris Computer Tower Only.
Upgraded computer (tower only) to support the Soleris data management system with the most recent Soleris software version installed. It is recommended to upgrade the Soleris computer every 5 years.
