Kenny Stauffer: Why should you test feeder cattle?
Kenny Stauffer: What other industry has more variables and more risk than when it comes to feeding cattle?
Kenny Stauffer: Everyday you’re trying to manage between markets, between weather, the one thing you can control is their genetics.
Kenny Stauffer: DNA allows you the ability to look into that animal and be able to make decisions much quicker and manage your risk.

Kenny Stauffer: Whether it’s marketing, whether it’s grid, whether its live, it helps you understand true genetics behind that animal.

Kenny Stauffer: To be able to know how many days on feed that animal is going to take. The opportunity to make a grid premium. Bovine congestive heart failure. All these issues and risks that our feed lots face every day.
Kenny Stauffer: This allows a snapshot of that animal before they make that purchase even, so they know how to manage, how to market, and at the end of the day we want to help them be most profitable and DNA allows you to have a snapshot of that animal before its hanging on the rail.
