TITLE: Tony's Tech Tip: Can a rapid test really work on feed samples?
Tony: We get this question frequently and the answer is absolutely they certainly can work on feed samples.
We typically would recommend that we do a feasibility study here at the agent first to determine that the test kit is fit for purpose for that particular feed formulation and the reason, really, is that feeds can vary so much in their composition.
We want to ensure that any of the vitamin and mineral fortifications that go into feeds aren't going to interfere with the chemistry of the test kit.
