Monday Mycotoxin and Crop Report for September 14, 2020

September 14, 2020

Oat Harvest Highlight

  • 96% harvested
  • 8 points ahead of last year
  • 2 points ahead of the five-year average

What does this mean?

As the oat harvest nears completion, the U.S. reports great harvest maturity compared to both the five-year average and last year’s average. However, severe drought conditions continue in the Pacific Coast, High Plains, Iowa, and New England. The drought conditions should not impact key oat harvest states but may affect ones within the recently stated regions.
