LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 5, 2013 — Neogen has introduced an easy-to-use, tamper-resistant bait station to help consumers control mice problems in their homes.
Neogen’s Ramik® Mouser RF is a refillable bait station that is resistant to tampering by children, and approved for indoor use. The refillable stations feature key entry, and are designed specifically for use with Ramik Mini Bars. The product is available in a pouch with either eight or 16 Ramik bars.
“Ramik Mouser RF is a perfect choice for homeowners with a problem with mice, especially now, when homeowners typically see a rise in mouse activity as rodents seek shelter from the coming cold weather,” said Neogen’s Stacy Dixon. “The station is designed to hold the Ramik bars firmly in place as mice consume the bait, and its key entry helps secure the station until it requires refilling.”
Neogen’s new products features Ramik’s proven and effective anticoagulant rodenticide diphacinone. The bait station’s two small openings allow easy access for mice to enter and feed — but prohibit access to children.
“The critical challenge in controlling mice in a household, especially homes with small children, is limiting access to the rodenticide to only mice. The Ramik Mouser RF does just that,” said Dixon. “After the critical access issue is addressed, the rodenticide must be formulated so that mice will actually eat it. Neogen’s Ramik bait systems use food processing technology to produce unusually palatable and highly attractive baits that retain their freshness, sweetness, and effectiveness in long-lasting forms.”
