LEXINGTON, Ky., April 13, 2018 — Neogen has expanded its line of quality ergonomic Prima® products to include Prima-Shot™ — which is engineered to be the most accurate repeater syringe in the animal health industry.

Neogen’s new Prima-Shot 50 mL repeater syringe adjusts from 0.5 mL to 5 mL in 0.5 mL increments, and features an easy-to-grip dose adjuster dial to make dosing changes easy. The Prima-Shot’s patented design also features a unique rotating pull knob to conveniently fill and engage the syringe.

“The Prima-Shot is the result of customer feedback that asked for an accurate syringe that was easy to fill, and quickly confirm the syringe contains the medication intended for a specific animal,” said Neogen’s Brad Galbreath. “At a quick glance, an animal caregiver can determine the medication in the syringe and its set dosage — both critical to quickly confirm in situations where a caregiver is servicing a large number of animals in a day.”

The Prima-Shot uses interchangeable colored pull knob inserts that can quickly be exchanged to easily distinguish between medications. It also features an amber-colored, heavy duty Tritan™ barrel that is BPA-free, highly chemical and scratch-resistant, and has chemical compatibility that surpasses both polycarbonate and polypropylene.
