LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec. 15, 2004 — Beginning this month, Neogen’s comprehensive line of quality veterinary pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements will be united under a new brand name — NeogenVet™.
The products’ redesign emphasizes the new common brand name and quality of products.
NeogenVet replaces Neogen’s venerable AmVet®, ImmunoVet®, and Triple Crown™ veterinary brands. Associated with the change, Neogen has unveiled a consistent, more contemporary look for its new NeogenVet products to increase brand visibility and shelf impact.
“We are hesitant to rebrand proven winners, but we believe the enhanced shelf appeal and new cross-selling potential of the products now united under a single brand outweigh the concern,” said Tracey Reynolds, Veterinary Marketing Manager. “Long-term, the move to NeogenVet will eliminate confusion involving our multiple brands, and more easily accommodate planned new product introductions to our existing 100-plus SKU Neogen veterinary product line.”
Some key Neogen products to be sold under the new NeogenVet brand include BotVax® B; EqStim® Immunostimulant (formerly ImmunoVet); PanaKare™, RenaKare™, and Vitamin E-AD (formerly AmVet); and Vita-15® and Liver 7 (formerly Triple Crown). Neogen’s line of Ideal® veterinary instruments will remain under the Ideal brand.
Neogen Corporation (Nasdaq: NEOG) develops and markets products dedicated to food and animal safety. Neogen’s Animal Safety Division markets a complete line of diagnostics, veterinary instruments, veterinary pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, disinfectants, and rodenticides.
