Igenity® Wagyu Feeder Check - is powered by the Australian Wagyu Association’s (AWA) extensive global database, informed by breeder contributions from over 40 countries. It is designed to deliver key genetic insights into terminal and carcass performance for Wagyu-influenced cattle. Before this product was available, Wagyu producers had limited options for accessing genetic information tailored to this unique breed type—especially for long-fed feeding and finishing programs. The genetic predictions provided through Igenity® Wagyu Feeder Check are based on a robust genomic reference population. Validation studies confirm that predictions perform similarly across diverse genetic backgrounds, allowing producers to confidently use Igenity® Wagyu Feeder Check across a wide range of Wagyu F1 crosses.
