Prozap® War Paint® Insecticidal Paste

War Paint® is your solution for pastured horses and foals; it is rain-fast in two hours and will treat a 1,000 lb. horse for eight weeks. When applied, War Paint attaches to the hair and slowly releases the insecticide over a period of weeks to repel and kill flies. Only place small amounts of War Paint where flies tend to congregate to offer maximum protection against unwanted flies. Once applied to the hair of the horse, War Paint cannot be wiped off. Therefore, it should not be applied within one to two weeks of any anticipated show or event in which the presence of small amounts of paste on the horse’s hair would have an adverse effect on the horse’s appearance.
