Agar No. 4 - Plant Tissue Culture Grade

Agar No.4 has been selected specifically for use as a gelling agent in plant tissue culture techniques, and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans. Agar No.4 is selected primarily on gel strength, a parameter of particular importance for plant tissue culture techniques, and then tested to ensure it meets the parameters set by a major Horticultural company. The agar contains no nutrients for plant growth and is designed to be incorporated into classical formulations such as Murashige and Skoog, as well as customer’s own formulations.
