Technology
The Hazelnut Protein Rapid Kit utilizes a lateral flow device (LFD) that is an immunochromatographic test method utilizing antibodies which are specific for the detection of hazelnut proteins. Positive results are visualized by the presence of three lines: a control line, a hook line and a test line, when the hazelnut protein is present down to the assay limit of detection (LOD). A control line assures the test is working properly, and the other two lines outline nondetectable, low, and high levels of hazelnut protein.
