Product Manager for Food Safety & Quality - Tokyo, Japan

Product manager is responsible for providing our products with the best fit for Japan market stable with knowledge of local requirement both of customers and regulations. This role will be more focusing on biochemical and immunoassay products which will be introduced into Japan market by Neogen Japan.

Duties:

• Forecasting and Market Research focusing of responsible products
  • Plan and lead VOC, market survey
  • Forecasting and Demand planning
  • Local short/mid term operation planning
• Coordinate local product introduction (incl. new product introduction) and stable supply
  • Responsible for following the NPI process and work closely with other Product Managers where appropriate as well as R&D, Production and Materials to ensure smooth transition from idea to launched product.
  • Lead the preparation of essential documents in collaboration with global marketing and local technical service team (e.g. product specifications, kit insert, technical report)
  • Website product listing
  • Local price control
  • 3rd party validation coordination in collaboration with local technical support team
• Develop focus documents for products in marketing campaigns, identifying Key USPs, typical customer questions, potential objections and competitor activity, as required. Evolve existing material based upon internal feedback.
  • Promotional Contents (e.g. White paper, Competitor comparison report, Product brochure with unique selling points)
  • Internal and external training contents development
• Provide and submit monthly, and any other ad hoc reports, summarizing key progress points.

Qualifications:

Mandatory

• 5 years or longer experiences in the immunoassay or/and biochemical testing industry
• 5 years or longer experiences in the international industry
• Experiences of working with international teams
• Excel Skill to manage sales data/to analyze market data
• Presentation & PPT creation skill to conduct product marketing strategy presentation
• English: Business level reading and writing, conversational level
• Superior communication skills, including ability to train teams.
• Strong organizational skills, team work and attention to details.
• Availability for business travel for both domestic and international
